MARYSVILLE – It’s not a Halloween trick.

Some areas of north Marysville, Smokey Point and Lakewood are experiencing discolored water caused by a damaged water hydrant.

The treat of clean water should be delivered by the afternoon of Oct. 31. The city in an announcement says crews are flushing the water mains.

In the meantime, people can flush internal pipes by running the water at home or in your business until the water runs clear.
