Brendan Magee was one of the many Marysville firefighters who braved some hot afternoon sun, June 27, to pass the boot to passing motorists at the intersection of State Avenue and Grove Street. The firefighters were in the midst of their annual collection for the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation, which continued June 28. Magee and others reported passers-by were being more than generous.
