MARYSVILLE – Marysville Parks and Recreation and exclusive sponsor Waste Management NW invite families and film-lovers to the 2011 Popcorn in the Park outdoor movie series, five consecutive Saturday nights of movie magic that open on July 9 featuring “How to Train Your Dragon.”
Movies start at dusk (about 9 p.m.) at the Jennings Memorial Park Baseball Field, 6915 Armar Road.
“This is your chance to enjoy movies under the stars this summer,” Parks and Recreation Director Jim Ballew said. “Bring the entire family, make room for lawn chairs, blankets and picnic baskets, and enjoy family-friendly films in a whole new way.
“Free popcorn will be provided free at each showing courtesy of Marysville Kiwanis Club. Here is the movie schedule for summer 2011 (all films are rated PG):
