Getchell Road bridge repair project completed ahead of schedule

MARYSVILLE — Completing construction work early seems to be a trend on Getchell Road. Repairs to the Little Pilchuck Creek bridge wrapped up on Tuesday, July 23, more than a week and a half ahead of schedule.

MARYSVILLE — Completing construction work early seems to be a trend on Getchell Road. Repairs to the Little Pilchuck Creek bridge wrapped up on Tuesday, July 23, more than a week and a half ahead of schedule.

On Thursday, July 18, Snohomish County Road Maintenance crews completed a culvert replacement project near 105th Avenue on Getchell Road, almost two weeks ahead of schedule. Work on both projects began on Monday, July 8.

“Our crews really outdid themselves,” Snohomish County Public Works Deputy Director Owen Carter said. “Completing two major road construction projects in less than three weeks is great news for us and for local drivers.”
