MARYSVILLE – A pickup driver died Jan. 1 after the vehicle went off the road, rolled down an embankment and came to rest on its top.

The man was identified as Ivan A. Rosalescabanillas, 26, of Everett, the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office reported today.

The passenger, Marlon A. Ruanoquitroa, 31, of Everett, was injured and taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.

The 2002 Dodge Ram pickup was northbound on Interstate 5 when it went off the highway at 2:16 a.m. Sunday about one mile south of Marysville near milepost 199, the Washington State Patrol reported.
