MARYSVILLE – A middle-aged man’s body was recovered from Twin Lakes Park today.

Just after 11:30 a.m. a witness called 9-1-1 to report seeing a body in the water, a sheriff’s news release says. Marysville police and fire responded and recovered the body. The death does not appear to be suspicious. It is believed the man may have suffered a medical emergency while fishing.

Positive identification of the man, as well as cause and manner of death, will come from the Snohomish County medical examiner.

Twin Lakes is located west of I-5 in the Lakewood-Smokey Point area.
