“Abandoned structures can be more than an ‘eye sore,’ they can be a nuisance and a safety hazard. They should be boarded up and secure. Stay alert to any unusual activity around them in your neighborhood and call local authorities if you have concerns,” according to Marysville Fire District spokeswoman Kristen Thorstenson.
