MARYSVILLE – Crews from the Marysville Fire District responded to two fires within 20 minutes on Nov. 23.

The first fire on Tuesday was dispatched just after 1 p.m. as a house fire in the 11200 block of 67th Avenue NE. Callers reportedly said they saw smoke and flames. The Ladder company could see the black smoke as they got closer. Upon their arrival, they were on the defensive of the fully involved trailer fire.

The trailer was completely destroyed and two adults were displaced.

The Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s Office is conducting an investigation.

The second fire call was dispatched less than 20 minutes later not far away in the 10400 block of 62nd Drive NE as a kitchen fire. Crews arrived within minutes to light smoke showing.

Damage was contained to the kitchen area and was estimated at $10,000 by the Marysville Fire District Investigators.
