MARYSVILLE – Hundreds of high school seniors will be graduating from Marysville this week.
•About 300 will graduate from Marysville Getchell High School alone June 15 at 4 p.m. at Xfinity Arena in Everett. Tickets are required. Each student is guaranteed 10.
The valedictorians are: Lorraine Abagatnan, Theresa Ambat, Ruth Bas, Jacob Lawrence and Michael Reeves. The salutatorians are Alyssa Thompson and David Quang.
Speakers will include the valedictorians, principals, senior class officers and a student-selected speaker.
Topics will include reflections of school days past, looking forward and contributing as a global citizen.
•Marysville-Pilchuck High School will have 274 graduates.
The valedictorians are Khanh D. Stitsel, Collin J. Paulk and Amanda G. Kalab, while the salutatorians are Claire L. Dobler and Thomas J. Haefele.
The event will be June 15 at 7:30 p.m., also at Xfinity Arena. A ticket is required. Seniors will get 10 tickets June 14 during commencement practice.
Alisha Purdom will give a Reflection Speech, the Class President Speech will be given by Samuel Watson and the valedictorians also will speak.
The M-PHS choir and band will perform, and student Jessica Hamilton will sing”This is Where I Leave You.”
•Arts and Tech High School will have 70 students graduate June 16 at 7 p.m. at the Francis Sheldon Gym on the Marysville-Tulalip Campus.
Valedictorian Christian Rounds will speak, as will salutatorian Parker Olson. The student-elected speaker is Alex Moore, and Matt Chonka is the staff- elected speaker. Principal Terri Kaltenbach and class advisor Darren Sylte also will speak.
Musical performances will be provided by the junior class.
•Mountain View High School and SOAR will graduate 40 seniors June 13 at Cedarcrest Middle School starting at 7 p.m. No other information was available.
•Heritage High School will graduate 17 students. That event will take place June 14 in the school gymnasium at 6 p.m.
