The reason given for this fight was the father of these two involved told the suspect, a 33-year-old male that he could not bring his girlfriend to the family gathering. The suspect started physically assaulting his step-mother and father when the brother, a 37-year-old visiting Montana resident, stepped in to defend the two family members being assaulted.
