MARYSVILLE — The Marysville Special Education PTSA’s next general meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 14, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. will see its members voting on whether to approve or reject rule changes proposed by the MSEPTSA Board.
The evening’s scheduled guest speakers are Kelly Church, from the Arc of Snohomish County, and MSEPTSA co-vice president Preston Dwoskin, who will be speaking jointly on “How to Connect and Communicate with Elected Officials,” which will address what’s new in Olympia and how it affects the local community.
The community is invited to hear from Church and Dwoskin, and to see the rest of the Board in action, during MSEPTSA’s general meetings, which will continue on the second Tuesdays of each odd-numbered month — including January, March and May — from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Kellogg Marsh Elementary library.
“We’d love to see as many people as possible show up,” Dwoskin said. “If you want to become a member of the Marysville Special Education PTSA, your membership fee is due on your first meeting. Non-members cannot vote, but non-members are still allowed to attend our public meetings.”
