MARYSVILLE — At approximately 5 p.m., Thursday, Marysville Police made an arrest in connection with the theft of Takoda, a Siberian Husky which was stolen out of its yard in Marysville on Sept. 24. The dog was reunited with its owners earlier this week when Marysville Police were contacted by an attorney that was representing an unnamed client who was in possession of the dog.

The suspect, a 59-year-old Snohomish County woman, was identified by a witness who saw the theft take place. At the request of the investigator she came to the Police Department for questioning. She was subsequently booked into the Marysville Jail for Theft in the Third Degree, Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree, and Animal Cruelty in the Second Degree.
