MARYSVILLE – MOD Pizza in downtown Marysville on the corner of State and Fourth opened to a packed house Friday, and business was brisk through the weekend.
When doors opened at noon, a line formed out the door as 52 pizzas were given away free.
The business is helping out the Marysville Food Bank in its first week, donating proceeds from each pizza sold.
The business features one main size of pizza at 11 inches. Customers go down a line and pick among dozens of items what they want on it. Salads are sold the same way.
It also sells garlic and cinnamon strips, beer, wine, milkshakes, floats and pop.
