WARM BEACH ?Laura Goheen, of Arlington, and the acoustic band, Living the Dream, will be performing at the Lights of Christmas Joyland Concert Hall Thursday, Dec. 21.
The band is comprised of Goheen, on keyboard and vocals, her brother Kam Fry, of Stanwood, on acoustic guitar, Gary Payne, bass, of Camano Island, Bill Simpson, electric guitair, of Camano Island and Eugene Gavriloff, a drummer from Russia, who now lives in Mount Vernon. The band attracted a big crowd when they performed in Arlingtons Music in the Park concert series in Terrace Park last summer.
The six talented musicians have been playing together off and on for more than six years. While they enjoy playing music, their first priorities are their families and therefore they dont have any interest in going on the road, according to Goheen.
We dont even have a CD, she said. Goheen teaches piano lessons while homeschooling her children.
