MARYSVILLE – A 60-year-old Marysville man suffered life-threatening head injuries after falling from his bike into the path of an oncoming car June 17.
Police say the bicyclist, who was wearing a helmet, was southbound in the 3400 block of Sunnyside Boulevard when he lost control and fell for an unknown reason. He was then hit by an oncoming car, driven by a 38-year-old Marysville woman.
The man was transported by ambulance to Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett.
Sunnyside was closed for a few hours after the 5:45 p.m. accident during the investigation.
