Mville Historical Society holds open house

MARYSVILLE The Marysville Historical Society will be holding an open house to give people a peek at their new museum and to listen to them say what they would like in to see in the new structure.

MARYSVILLE The Marysville Historical Society will be holding an open house to give people a peek at their new museum and to listen to them say what they would like in to see in the new structure.
The open house will be held at 1508-B Third Street in Marysville on Thursday, Oct. 11, from 57 p.m.
Preliminary plans for the new museum to be built at the societys Armar Road property will be on display, as well as sample exhibits of things they have collected over the years. Refreshments will be provided.
We want to hear from as many people as possible to make sure our museum is truly what we want, society president Ken Cage said.
The Marysville Historical Society is currently raising $2.5 million for the building and an endowment to fund the building, and Cage said anybody with contributions of any kind are encouraged to call him at 360-659-5808 or the society office at 360-659-3090. The society meets the Monday of each month at the Marysville Public Library, at 6 p.m.
