MARYSVILLE – Thanks to the state Lottery, Adam Jay of Marysville and his family will be crossing off the top item on their collective bucket list.
Jay, 29, recently won $50,000 playing “$30,000,000 Blowout” Scratch from Washington’s Lottery.
Jay purchased his ticket on March 4 from the Marysville Fred Meyer at 9925 State Ave.
“It hasn’t really sunk in yet,” Jay said of the win. “I usually play whatever Scratch game catches my eye, and I’m glad I chose this one.”
Jay told Lottery officials his family has always wanted to take a trip to Belize, and he wants to make that dream come true with his prize.
He plans to take 10 family members on the grand vacation. In addition, Jay also said he’s had his eye on a new Subaru.
