Koster plans another Round Table

Find out from your state legislators the outcomes of the 2009 session and how they will affect the economy, businesses, communities and government in Snohomish County at a Networking Breakfast and Business Roundtable, presented by County Councilman John Koster at 7 a.m., Tuesday, May 12 at Monte Cristo Hotel, 1507 Wall St., Everett.

Special guests are state Representative Marko Liias; 21st District, Rep. Dan Kristiansen, 39th District; Rep. Mike Hope, 44th District; Rep. Al O’Brien, 1st District.

County’s customer service closes daily

On May 1 Snohomish County’s Customer Service Center began closing daily between noon and 1 p.m. This change will impact Auditor, Assessor and Treasurer services.

“We ask that our customers understand that these changes are due to countywide budget limitations and operational realities,” said Carolyn Weikel, County Auditor.

The first floor of the Customer Service Center is open to the public, Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and each Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Starting May1, the Customer Service Center will close daily from noon to 1 p.m.

The Customer Service Center is located on the first floor of the Robert J. Drewel Building on the County Campus and includes vehicle/vessel licensing; pet licensing; marriage licensing; public records search services; document recording, assessor, and treasurer services.
