Praise to the Marysville School District for its career and college EXPO. Our only suggestion would be to have sophomores go, too, so students can start planning even earlier.
Praise to Leah’s Dream Foundation for its work helping children with autism.
Praise to the hundreds of people who helped fix up the Marysville Boys and Girls Club.
Praise to Marysville for having a Superhero Dance to give equal time for mom’s and sons.
Raze to the tire slashers in Arlington, and the vandals who took down the Kiwanis Park sign in Marysville. Grow up.
Praise to the Marysville YMCA for Healthy Kids Day.
Praise to Cedarcrest school counselors for talking to students about suicide prevention. Ending that stigma is the only way to head off those tragic situations.
Praise to Marysville for looking at a sales tax increase to help criminal justice. It would tax all who benefit fairly.
Praise to Marysville for studying a new law that would ban shooting firearms in city limits. There are too many people living near the estuary to allow hunting to continue.
Praise to the state for funding the new Marysville-Pilchuck food commons.
Praise to Jennifer Smith for taking back Smokey Point by having a cleanup there May 14.
Praise to Friends of the Arlington Library for its Bikes for Books program.
Praise to Marysville for its plans for Lakewood. By connecting the dots it will be an even more amazing place to live.
Praise to lawmaker Barbara Bailey for working with colleges to accelerate graduations to reduce student debt.
Raze that the state has to fix the bridges, that people won’t change their routes, and that they complain about it anyway.
Praise to the Stilly Tribe for its $500,000 donation for the Arlington splash pad.
