Price, Cull, Davis and Clark earns honors

Shane Price and Cali Cull have been named the Marysville Soroptimist and Kiwanis Students of the Month for September, while Garrett Davis and Sarah Clark have been named their Students of the Month for October.

MARYSVILLE — Shane Price and Cali Cull have been named the Marysville Soroptimist and Kiwanis Students of the Month for September, while Garrett Davis and Sarah Clark have been named their Students of the Month for October.

Price has a 3.96 cumulative GPA and has been on the M-PHS honor roll from freshman through junior year. He’s been active in tennis, soccer, golf and ASB. He’s served on the Knowledge Bowl Academic Team, and as an emcee of several school events. He’s also been a delegate and a representative for state and national student councils.

Cull has a 3.992 cumulative GPA and has been on her school’s honor rolls since 2005. She been active in basketball, volleyball, track and field, homecoming and prom. She’s served on Random Acts of Kindness Etc. She’s also volunteered for Operation Marysville Community Christmas and Centralia flood relief with the Marysville United Methodist Church.

Both Price and Cull have been active in Honor Society and involved with Miracle on State Street, and served on “You Gotta Love This Place” and as a freshman mentor.

Davis has a 4.0 cumulative GPA and has been an honor student since 2007. He’s been active in football, basketball, baseball and Honor Society. He’s been involved in the MBA golf tournament fundraiser and rummage sale and auction, and has taken part in Quil Ceda Creek restoration projects. He’s also been a Marysville youth football camp and AAU basketball mentor.

Clark has a 3.91 cumulative GPA and has taken honors English since her freshman year. She’s been active in diving, track and field, ASB, Honor Society and homecoming. She’s served on “You Gotta Love This Place,” volunteered for the Halloween funfest and chaired the Color Wars. Her mission trips have included the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica and Mexico, and she’s served as an M-PHS mentor program coordinator and a Vacation Bible School leader.
