Queensryche replaces Benatar at Monroe fair

MONROE – The Northwest rock band Queensrÿche will perform at The Evergreen State Fair at 7:30 p.m., Monday, Aug. 31.

MONROE – The Northwest rock band Queensrÿche will perform at The Evergreen State Fair at 7:30 p.m., Monday, Aug. 31.

Queensrÿche will replace Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo, who recently canceled because of medical reasons.

Queensrÿche has sold 30 million albums around the world across a 30-plus-year career. Hits include: “Silent Lucidity”, “Jet City Woman”, “Queen of the Reich”, “Eyes of a Stranger”, “Take Hold of the Flame”, “Walk in the Shadows”, “Redemption”, “Fall Out” and more.

For more on the band go to www.QueensrycheOfficial.com. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday Aug. 21. Tickets can be purchased online at www.EvergreenFair.org or at the Fair Box Office in Monroe. Tickets are $15-$25, which includes fair gate admission.

The concert series also includes Casting Crowns, Lee Brice, Jerrod Niemann and Vince Gill. The fair runs from Aug. 27 to Sept. 7 at 14405 179th Ave. SE.
