Rescuers help woman who fell off horse

GETCHELL – A woman who suffered injuries while horseback riding was located, treated and packed out by rescue personnel June 8.

GETCHELL – A woman who suffered injuries while horseback riding was located, treated and packed out by rescue personnel June 8.

The woman was riding along a trail near a power line when she fell around 12:30 p.m. and called 911. She was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett around 2 p.m.

Rescuers were from the county sheriff’s office, search and rescue, and Getchell, Lake Stevens and Granite Falls fire districts.
