MARYSVILLE – The old State Route 529 Ebey Slough Bridge has served the Marysville and Everett communities well for 85 years, but it’s time to bid farewell.

Join community members, city officials and the Washington State Department of Transportation on Thursday, June 14, to help retire the old bridge before demolition begins next week.

Take a final walk across the old swing-span bridge and hear from the specialized bridge crew members who have maintained and operated the bridge for decades. Crews will begin taking down the bridge tender house and the swing span on Monday, June 18.
