Waste Management Northwest customers in Arlington and Marysville will likely see their services affected in the wake of the strike by Teamsters Local 117 on Wednesday, July 25.
According to Waste Management Northwest, their commercial customers in Arlington will be affected, as well both their commercial and residential customers in Marysville.
If your collection day is July 25, there may be limited collection services due to the morning work stoppage.
Waste Management Northwest is asking its residential customers in Marysville to leave their carts out until 5 p.m. on July 25.
If residential or commercial customers in Marysville, or commercial customers in Arlington, do not receive recycling or food and yard waste service on July 25, Waste Management Northwest will pick up their extra recycling or food and yard waste on their next scheduled service day at no additional charge.
Due to the undetermined duration of the strike, Waste Management Northwest is encouraging all of its customers to place their materials curbside according to their regular collection schedules. If those materials are not collected by the end of those scheduled collection days, customers may bring them in and Waste Management Northwest will collect double loads on their next collection days.
