MARYSVILLE – A 29-year-old transient man’s body was found hanging from a tree limb Monday.
Major Crimes detectives with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office are investigating whether the death is suspicious.
Detectives searched the area Monday night, including a nearby homeless encampment, Shari Ireton of the sheriff’s department said today.
The discovery of the body was reported around 7 a.m. near a power substation in the 3100 block of 88th Street SE.
Identification of the body, as well as confirmation of cause and manner of death, are pending from the Medical Examiner’s Office.
