EVERETT — The USS Nimitz's departure from Naval Station Everett, which had been scheduled for Friday, March 29, has been postponed until 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, to complete its required preparations for deployment.

EVERETT — The USS Nimitz’s departure from Naval Station Everett, which had been scheduled for Friday, March 29, has been postponed until 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, to complete its required preparations for deployment.

The Nimitz is the flagship for Carrier Strike Group 11, commanded by Rear Adm. Michael S. White.
