TULALIP – A 47-year-old woman died and a 49-year-old man seriously injured in a single-car accident in Tulalip Tuesday night.

Marine Drive between Hermosa Beach Drive and 83rd Place NW was closed for several hours after the 8:30 p.m. accident as the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office investigated.

Detectives say speed and alcohol are believed to be causing factors, but the incident remains under investigation, the sheriff’s office reported.
