Diane (DeeDee) Margaret Miller, 52 of Conway, WA, passed away December 20, 2017, after a short battle with lung cancer.
She was surrounded by friends and family and sent off with love.
DeeDee was born June 23, 1965, in Arlington, WA, to Charles A. Miller and Jannine A. (Reed) Miller. She lived a majority of her life in the North Snohomish County area with a few years spent in California and Texas.
She spent the last 30 years working in Sea Food processing, starting in the shipping department and the last 17 years as plant manager, at Ocean Beauty, Monroe, WA. DeeDee was a smart, sassy, tough, funny, sarcastic, loyal, fierce, loving, stubborn, fun, generous, brave, beautiful person, she was the best daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and friend you could ever hope for. She loved spending time with family (most of the time) and friends (always).
She was happy sitting around a campfire, camping and fishing. She always looked forward to family camp. She loved road trips, sister trips, geocaching, gardening, crafting and canning. She loved food, the Food Channel, eating a great meal; she loved to recreate recipes or something good she tried in a restaurant. Music always made her happy, and she was always up for a good concert, especially if it was Bruce Springsteen, Rod Stewart or Steven Tyler. All, she saw multiple times. She loved her Seahawks! If she wasn’t at the game where she had season tickets she was glued to the screen cheering them on.
She loved traveling with her two best Friends, Linda Carbajal and Terri Waddel. Their adventures were always the best of times with lots of laughter and shenanigans. DeeDee had superpowers when it came to making friends; she made and kept friends for a lifetime. She was always happy to see you and she let you know how important you were to her. She leaves many, many devastated friends near and far.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Jannine. She leaves behind her broken-hearted family: father Charles Miller of Arlington; brothers Michael and Sheryl Miller of Arlington, Robert and Christine Miller of Toutle, WA; sister, LeAnne and Paul Anderson of Arlington; nephews Jeremy (Becky) Miller, Joshua Miller, Torey MacLeod; nieces Elizabeth Miller, Cassi (Ashlie) Anderson, Courtney (Nate) Borowski; her Special Great littles: Chase (Bugman) and Harper (Bella) Miller, Connor MacLeod, Rinoa, Twila and Henry Anderson. She leaves many aunts, uncles, cousins, countless special friends and her Ocean Beauty family, all who will miss her forever. Her family invites all who knew DeeDee to help us celebrate her life.
