Frank Blackmun Adams Sr., went into the loving arms of his Savior surrounded by family Nov. 30, 2006.
He was born June 23, 1926, to T.K. and Verne Adams in Fort Smith, Ark.
Frank served his country proudly in the Medical Detachment 188th Parachute Infantry Regiment before deciding on a career as a Commercial and Residential Tile Setter. He was a member of the Bricklayers and Local Craftsman Union Local 1 as well as a member of the Independent Order of Foresters.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Dorothy May Adams; his sons, Frank B. (Martha) Adams Jr., of Monroe, Wash. and Clayton Adams, of Edmonds, Wash.; grandchildren, Scott (Elizabeth) Adams, of Granite Falls, Wash., Jeff (Kim) Adams, of Marysville, Wash. and Tammy Stacy, Cynthia Kallicott and Cathy Weaver, all of Everett;
10 great-grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Frank was preceded in death by his son, John, in 1968.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006. The Graveside Service is at 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 8, with a Memorial Service at 2 p.m., also Friday, at Maple Park Lutheran Brethren Church, l7620 60th Ave. W., Lynnwood. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Becks Funeral Home.
