Glenn Orvis “Bob” Forbes was born in Silvana, Wa. on June 22, 1912 to Robert and Jean (Armstrong) Forbes.

He passed away in Bothell, Wa. on January 30, 2009

He graduated from Arlington High School in 1931 and was a boilermaker for 45 years, retiring in 1978.

He was a member of Arlington Masons, Tacoma Eagles, Fairbanks Elks, Stillaguamish Valley Pioneer Assn.

He enjoyed reading and traveling.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 20 years Marilyn Fayne (Holland) Forbes in 1959. And all siblings: brothers Rob, Wes, Mel and Harold and sisters Evelyn Mills and Lucille Torreyson.

He is survived by sons Jack and Bill (Timmi J 0) and daughters Ann (Allen) Searle and Linda Forbes.

He had 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren

Funeral arrangements are pending at Acacia Memorial Park in Bothell.
