Mary Eddah Hamilton, 89, passed away in her home on July 2, 2007, in Arlington, Wash.
She was born to Arthur and Ruby A. (Long) Hamilton on July 23, 1917, in Pauls Valley, Okla. Mary graduated from Catholic High of Huston, Texas, in 1935.
She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, gardening and playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary was an independent, strong, spiritual and gentle woman, who was also forgiving and very loving and caring.
She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Hamilton in 1922; mother, Ruby Long in 1984; siblings, Jack Hamilton, Joe Burchard, Alice Clayton; and son, Arthur H. Edwards.
Mary is survived by her sons, William T. Edwards, of Tennessee, John W. Edwards, of Wahiawa, Hawaii, and Henry J. Edwards, of Burbank, Calif.; daughter, Karen L. Edwards, of Arlington; brother, Arthur Hamilton, of Pauls Valley; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held at 9:30 a.m., Monday, July 9, 2007, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Arlington; a funeral mass at 10 a.m. A graveside service followed at Arlington Municipal Cemetery.
