The city for its vision of the Marysville Opera House. It’s a great venue and so many wonderful events go on there. The Marysville Kiwanis Club has started a new Aktion Club for adults with special needs to help them with community service projects. Marysville is spending quite a bit of money, almost $23,000, for the mayor and City Council to go to Washington, D.C., each year. But it’s hard to argue against it when they bring back $1.35 million in federal money for various local projects.

Arlington for its plan to fix up Recreation Alley near the airport. That area is used so much by families doing recreation but it’s an eyesore.
