MOUNT VERNON — The Tulalip Heritage boys basketball team lost a first-round game of the 1B district to Mount Vernon Christian 66-33 Feb. 7.

Junior Paul Shay Jr. led Tulalip with 10 points. The Hawks will now host Grace Academy in a loser-out consolation Feb. 9 at 4 p.m.

LAKEWOOD — The Lakewood boys basketball team lost to Sedro-Woolley 72-57 Feb. 7 in a final regular-season game. Junior Kaleb Duitsman led Lakewood with 22 points. The Cougars are seeded No. 11 in the 2A Northwest Conference, and will play a first-round game as visitor at Cedarcrest High School Feb. 9 at 6:45 p.m.
