LAKEWOOD – A number of Lakewood High School athletes have received All Northwest Conference honors.
On the football team, six players made the first team.
Senior David Golovin was named a first team offensive lineman, and a first team defensive lineman.
Senior Sean Phillips was named first team secondary and second team wide receiver.
Also named were: junior quarterback Jared Taylor, senior receiver Machai Harris, senior punter Ian Ware, and senior linebacker Spencer Neiffer.
Four underclassmen received honorable mention: juniors Riley Krueger and Morgan Stacey as a linebacker and defensive back; sophomore Carson Chrisman as a wide receiver; and freshman Jakobus Seth as an offensive lineman.
In volleyball, three players were honored. Senior Tehanna Goodall made the second team as an outside hitter, while fellow senior Kimmy Epperson was an honorable mention setter. Junior Kristinn Bostrom was an honorable mention libero.
In cross country, three runners made the second team: Juniors Callie Buchanan and Alex Jensen, along with freshman Alexa Daily.
In soccer, senior Cassidy O’Hara was named to the second team as a midfielder, while sophomore Iliana Ramirez was an honorable mention forward.
