MARYSVILLE – What the Edmonds-Woodway High School girls softball team lacks in size it makes up for with technique.
Certainly one of the smaller teams in Wesco, from the top to the bottom of its lineup, one after another, they hit line drives for singles.
That certainly was evident in the fourth inning Tuesday, batting through the lineup and scoring four runs on the way to a 10-2 win over Marysville Getchell.
E-W ended the game with 11 hits off MG pitcher Bri Palm, while the Chargers managed just five hits off Mariah Woolery.
MG didn’t help its cause by making five errors in the field.
Kendra Cooper led the visitors at the plate going a perfect 4-4.
