MARYSVILLE – The Marysville-Pilchuck girls soccer team started its season with a 1-1 tie against Newport Sept. 9.

MARYSVILLE – The Marysville-Pilchuck girls soccer team started its season with a 1-1 tie against Newport Sept. 9.

M-P junior midfielder Brittany Anderson scored a goal in the first half. Newport responded with a goal in the 53rd minute.

M-P’s next game is Sept. 11 at Archbishop Murphy at 6 p.m.
