MARYSVILLE — The Tomahawks and Chargers swim and dive teams hosted Everett at Marysville-Pilchuck High School on Thursday, Sept. 26.
The Tommies’ overall score of 108 placed them first against Everett, who scored a 73. The Chargers’ team score of 72, fell short of the Seagulls, who finished with an 89.
For Marysville-Pilchuck, Madison Rossnagle took first place in the 200-meter freestyle with a time of 2:19.88. Rebekah Pusateri took first place in the 200-meter individual medley, with a final time of 2:34.54. Pusateri also took first in the 100-meter butterfly with a time of 1:18.98.
Melody Coleman took first in the 50-meter freestyle with a time of 28.14, as well as the 100-meter freestyle with a time of 1:00.65. M-P’s Abby Magee took first in the 500-meter freestyle with a time of 5:28.42. Magee also took first in the 100-meter backstroke with a time of 1:08.39.
Coleman, Pusateri, Rossnagle and Magee took first in the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:50.07. They also took first in the 400 free relay, with a time of 4:11.99.
Madison Pfeil placed first in the 100-meter breaststroke with a time of 1:30.91.
MG’s 200-meter medley relay team took first place with a time of 2:17.76. MG’s Rachel Hartmeyer took first place in the 200-meter freestyle with a time of 2:05.27 and the 200-meter individual medley relay with a time of 2:19.93. Lia Mullen-Gaffney took first place in the 100-meter butterfly for MG, with a time of 1:15.28. MG’s Jordan Kercheval took first in the 100-meter freestyle with a time of 1:07.64.
Diving success included freshman diver Kylie Prouse, of M-P, who scored a 111.40. MG’s Brooke Wherley scored a 239.55.
