MARYSVILLE — The Lady Tomahawks topped Mount Lake Terrace, 3-1, Sept. 30.

“We started very slow. We struggle coming out strong in the first set,” M-P head coach Brittany Fitzmaurice said. “Eventually, once we started getting warmed up, we mixed up our lineup and started setting off the net, and our hitters were finally able to put some balls down.”

Marysville-Pilchuck’s Bailey Nelson led the team with 17 kills, and teammate Kendal McCoy led with 30 digs.

M-P hosts Lynnwood Thursday, Oct. 2, at 7 p.m.
