The Tomahawk football team put the hurt on Jackson in the Wesco North/South crossovers that mark the end of the season.
M-P defeated Jackson at Everett Memorial Stadium 40-0 Nov. 2.
Quarterback Denay Stell only went through the air twice in 48 minutes of game play, but it hardly mattered as M-P was unstoppable on the ground with 379 rushing yards. Five different Tomahawks found the end zone on the ground, with junior Andy Abadam jumpstarting the offense on an 82-yard kickoff return for a touchdown to open the game.
Senior fullback Ben Hagar led the offense in total yards with 144 and a second-quarter touchdown. Stell had two first-half touchdowns, while running backs Shawn DeLappe and Caleb Posey had one each in the second half.
The defense helped out, picking off four passes and recovering two fumbles to provide the Tomahawks scoring opportunities.
