MARYSVILLE — The Marysville Skate Inn’s “Team N Tense” is back. They have been competing since November, starting the season in Puyallup and competing in Auburn, Bremerton, Federal Way, and April 16-17 in Spokane.

In Spokane Ivan Spencer placed second overall in the primary Boys Division, and Nikita Fleischmann placed  fifth overall in the Elementary Girls Division. Also placing respectively in the divisions were Nashone White Bear, Elementary Boys Division; Jeffery Davis, Elementary Boys Division; and Erica Fleischmann, Sophomore Ladies. Ben Whitkop was unable to attend the Spokane meet, but will going on to the Northwest Regional Inline Speed Skating Championships with the rest of Team N Tense on May 21-22 in Portland. Qualifiers on the team at this competition will be going to Fort Wayne, s., to represent Marysville  at the National Speed Skating Championships.

Trainer Eric Fleischmann looks forward to working with the team to get them in the best possible condition for this big competition.
