The Lady Cougars faced tough and tall Cascade Conference competition Friday, Jan. 5, against Kings High School.
The Lady Tomahawks began the new year in similar fashion as 2006 on a winning note. Seniors Nancy Couls (16 points), Laura Degerness (12) and junior Jessica Masters (15) accounted for all but a dozen of M-Ps total points in the Wesco North win.
M-P was one of 22 teams at the annual Arlington junior varsity tournament Saturday, Jan. 6, and fared quite well for themselves.

MARYSVILLE A lot of good things came out of the M-P soccer teams performance against Snohomish.
The drive alone to the Jim Creek Naval facility, curving through a bright green blackberry patches and setback country homes, would help anybody relax and put things in perspective.
