North Cascades Crew in Lake Stevens accepting rowers

North Cascades Crew is now accepting registrations for Summer Novice Camp or Summer Crew. Summer Novice Rowing Camp is designed for eighth- through 12th-grade boys and girls (ages 13-18) at all experience levels.

The goal is to provide an opportunity for young people to discover the joys of rowing and coxing in a fun, non-competitive environment. North Cascades Crew emphasizes participation of all campers and team-building skills. All campers will receive a t-shirt.

Summer Novice 1 (3 weeks): June 22 – July 10. Cost: $100

Summer Novice 2 (6 weeks): June 22 – Aug. . Cost: $165

Junior Summer Crew June 22 – Sept. 4, 2009

Junior Summer Program 1 6 – 7:30 a.m. Monday through Friday

This rigorous program for experienced Junior & Master rowers focuses on improving technique and cardiovascular endurance for the fall season. Coach’s pre-approval required.

Five day a week cost: $75 a month + Juniors seasonal fee of $100 (if not already paid in full).

Three day a week cost: $65 a month + Juniors seasonal fee of $100 (if not already paid in full).

Junior Summer Program 2 7:30 – 9 a.m. Monday through Friday

This program focuses on improving technique and cardiovascular endurance for the fall season.
